In case anyone was still in denial, here's a shot of what came out of my Elite catch can after 3000 miles:

Keep in mind this is a Ziploc brand sandwich bag, I would guess there to be at least a quarter cup of oil in there:

We didnt need proof that it works, but that sure is good that it removed that, yet scary that there is that much oil passing through.

I empty mine about every other time I fill up so it's only on the order of a teaspoon or so. I'm saving it though so I can get a decent quantity over a decent number of miles. So far I've got about 20 ml in 1000 miles. A lot less than what you got there but your motor is a good ways from stock right?

Yea I get a ton of it in mine. I get enough passing throught that I need to add some oil every couple weeks or so.

Stock longblock N/A, just bolt-ons and a tune. I usually empty every 1k miles or so but thought I'd go a full change before checking for shits and giggles. I was very surprised at the results.

I have it here, but I asked Luke to remove or edit his post. I prefer to let people voluntarily correct such things before I step in and do it myself. That way I'm not the evil moderator bitch...well all of the time.

I would editted have if it wasnt quoted. I only meant to compliment the effectiveness of the can, but he responded hostile like.

And we know it was a harmless comment, but since he cannot respond, I felt bad, and deleted.

Was cool from the start. I just question the selective moderation in some of the threads the last few days. :censored:

This wasn't selective moderation, the comment was unnecessary and inflammatory. He deleted it himself. I only moderate this forum (SRT8 LX) and can't speak for the other moderation.

And back to the catch can discussion...

I personally haven't invested in one, as I haven't modded my engine at all and only have bolt-ons. It is good to know that they do work though.

    Call Heidi.

Tell her I sent you and I will pay for it. Mine is in (Finally). I will be checking it just before our venture to the Spring Festival.

Since the mag is my dads, I need to convince him to get one. Even stock engines are collecting oil.

I think the pics are pretty convincing.
