11.82 @ 117 N/a 6.1

How fast can these things really go. I've already hit my goals for this year on my first track visit. I don't know what to set my new goal maybe 11.69, So do you guys think these 6.1 has more in them.

Yeah I'm still working on my Sig. But until its up my setup is a 300CSRT8 with the HHP Stage 2 package

11.8 on stage 2 heads/cam and stage 2 b/g with street tires?

 

It's been Diablo-B&G tuned...but ya, verrrrry impressive times. Hey Mark, don't you have this same/similar HHP package?

 

Of course 11.8's are awesome from a 2 ton+ brick but DVS's trap speed is amazing as well...even if he did spin a bit.

 

Although I agree ETs are ultimately more important than trap speeds, as I'm sure you know traps show us how much actual power was put to the pavement.
As long as gearing, suspension, and drivetrain (converter) allow DRs or slicks will actually increase (contrary to popular belief) trap speed because they allow for a harder launch (meaning more actual time at WOT).
It's going to be a fun year, no doubt. :beer:

 

holy crapola!!! i have the hhp stage 2 package but i just have a regular stage 2 b&g. i remember the day when a stage 2 car wouldnt get any faster then like a 12.5. that predator is a serious power unleasher!

 

curtis what are you running now that youve got a cmr tune?

 

yeah, still running the b&g. was too scared to get the pred when everybody w/a cam grenaded their engine (even though it was their fault).

I was still able to run 11.98 with the BG stage 2 with a 1.74 60ft

The full retuning takes about 4 to 6 hours to get it where we like it, both for WOT and for partial throttles. Richie (from BES) and I have spent a lot of time writing our baselines for this package and we're pleased with them so far.
