first one (like another member had posted which helped me out) is a close up of what you need to remove..

Yea, I can only imagine since I have a MAGGIE!! No cutting required, hahahhaa! Oh, and I didn't jack my car up like the instructions said, did you?? Others said not to and I didn't see the point. Changed the strut bar on my stang 3 times over the years and never jacked it up once.

It'll look good on yours Milan being your srt is silver but I disagree with stevo, I don't think it looks good on red. Maybe if the bar was black I might have left it but it's off gray and just didn't work for me. Mine's now inferno red.

Damn, does this mean I'm gonna have to pull out the Ginsu knife? Did you use a utility knife? Lastly, the heat shield looks like crap now huh? Hmm. I have to think of something as well for this as I can't stand ugliness anywhere...I may just take the whole fricken thing off and trust the guys who told me it won't screw with the paint on the hood.

I would take it off...THEN cut it...then put it back on...i was too lazy/stupid to do it...it will LOOK better when you do it and it will be a CRAP load easier too...

i cant even tell you how many profanities were said during that...

and whoever said the install was easy can kiss my :moon:

    it was SIMPLE...not EASY hahahahahaha

You mean cut the plastic insert lining the metal and leave the fabric shroud intact after removing the whole piece? And then returning it or???...
