    Planning ahead :thumb:

The BBK is still in the air as I'm not yet ready to proceed on working on the brakes. Want to finish the suspension first then see my options as far as brakes. Originally I was going with slotted rotors, Hawk HP+ pads, ss lines... and I might still go that route. At this time looking for feedback, suggestions and so fourth concerning brakes.

ya I hear ya, I wanted to do the same thing. then it just came down to the fact that I thought the bling was better. You know, the bigger turbo is better, the bigger brakes are better the more expensive wheels are better etc etc. After being strapped for cash and reading more I just saw that there were other financially pleasing options that worked for me. I have friends I talk to from CT very often and one always says "don't spend 1000 dollars on something if you're going to only use 500 of it." Just my .02

I agree with you. I've been told I'm wasting my money on some parts and that their not much needed parts. That I'm "over doing it". I honestly think I'm not. It will be an accomplishment for me to finally build a car completely instead of half-assing one together. I understand budgets, financial problems, etc. My loan is for 5 yrs, so I will have this car for a long time so I don't see the sense of rushing it to be "faster". I'd like to get to that point that I've covered mostly everything. For example, gauges... done. I feel I have the necessary gauges and much needed gauges. There's just other aspects I've ignored way to long and should of done first when I got the car instead of buying all these, "go fast" mods. I'm not so much into the bling factor but I am into the clean factor. One of the reasons I changed the overall look of the car last week.

Wilwood and consist of rotors, pads, calipers, etc. for the front.

You would still need to get the SS lines and slotted/drilled rear rotors w/pads.

i was gonna say i just saw it on moderns website. they say they also make the cross drilled and slotted rotors for the back as well.

one thing i didnt get, the red caliber kit is 749, but the black is 649. both include the cross drilled and slotted rotors and the steel braided lines.

    http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=174_184&products_id=1214

actually cheaper than what i thought it would be.

Correct, modern performance sells this kit and from what I was told its the only kit that will fit behind the stock wheels.

Yeah the red vs black thing I don't get why $100 price difference, red might be some sort of special order.

I know I said I would have the buttons/webpages done yesterday but I work 10 hr days and I was too tired to work on it. Hopefully by Sunday the website is 100% fully running.

Buttons more then likely tomorrow, Friday or by Saturday afternoon. I have to work on the webpages.

    I will have one for
Home, About Us, Services, Gallery, Videos, Contact

As far as Saturday, wasn't sure about joining the cruise. I know I'll be at Sonics Saturday night for sure.

Mileage plus the price of gas don't go hand in hand for a Saturday night cruise. On a Saturday, that catches too much attention especially from the law. I almost got pulled over last Saturday about 15 secs after leaving Sonics. I passed a cop with his lights off parked along the side of Hillsborough, he then pulled out with no lights on got right up behind me, I turned off unto the next street and he followed, I guess he scanned the tag... didn't find anything, then busted a U-turn back to his original location.

These cars are attention getters as loud as they are. I prefer not to draw attention.
