Power is great, but at what price are you willing to pay? And are you willing to pay for the mods to support the bigger turbo? How much debt are you willing to rack up? Now's a great time to buy or refinance a house, condo, or townhome. Rates are low. Sellers are almost willing to do anything to get out of their mortgage. I'm extremely close to refinancing my car loan. I may go with Bank of America or a local credit union.

ya that's another thing. I'm just looking to address the last motor mod (turbo setup) I'm going to do and I want to make sure I do it right. No all out for me. I've wanted a GT2871R for quite some time now but I just don't see my clutch/tranny loving that one either. And the kit is 2300 do I'm better of saving an extra few paychecks and getting the s3 and not worrying about the driveability, then the s3 has issues with wheel separation and the big wheel might be a bit too much. Idk it just seems that there's always a counter argument to whatever I want to do. I just can't win against myself lol.

I'm actually putting priorities first. Paying off some debt with my tax return. I could get more mods but in the end I'm just hurting myself more financially.

I agree power is great BUT in my opinion I would like to do it the right way. My plans are in the air as to what I would like to do power wise and like I've stated its on the back burner.

Speed is great... but stopping power is better. So upgrading the brakes is a must, upgrading suspension is a must, fuel mods is a must, tuning device such as a piggyback is a must. I know everyone wants to go fast or be the fastest and this new trend has started of wanting that. But honestly I don't care if I'm the slowest. What I want is to know my car is capable and handling everything I can throw at it so I'm doing it the right way. I know some people think I'm over doing it but you'll see once its setup the way I want it, every aspect of the car will be covered and not be half assed imo. I'm not throwing necessary mods on the back burner because I want to go faster. I could of done that already.

I've had this talk already with some but I'm done telling people on the correct way to do things.

Yup that's the best thing to do. I'm ready to finally finish off this motor and then move my eyes towards the Road Racing. Need to focus on 1 thing at a time or I'll get mixed up. I agree with you, I'm keeping the turbo small just to complete the circle, if I wanted to be the fastest I wouldn't be debating small turbos, plus my interested shifted a while ago. Shit after my friend got a 700whp evo and another got a 1200whp supra, my big power hopes were pretty much crushed and haven't cared ever since, just been wanting to get it running well. Been wanting to for a LONG time now, just never had the funds and my tires are bald and my car running better than shit was priority. But you're thinking is pretty much right on.
