Much taller. I don't have one in front of me to give you a dimension. In the photo, you can see the mounting tab we are using with the "rail that is being returned" We could weld this tab ourselves, correct?
You wont need to weld on these. If you have all your fittings and crossovers I could get a set of rails only and clamps done soon. I will be making the clamps early next week i need an open machine. Rails i dont have material yet.
Hey Dan, Any way we can get these without the hole tapped in the OEM spot? I'm sure a lot of use will be working on a "T" fitting in the rear to feed each rail evenly. Thanks.
fuel rail update Good news the material has been ordered and should be on the machine early next week. First run will be a limited quantity of 20 sets. Get in on this one before they are sold out. Thanks Dan B.T
One of the cool things about the rails is you will save 53.00 right off the bat. That is about how much the aeromotive fitting costs that you need on another brands rails to get them to work. This will come with the fitting you need..
That's true for most, but I'm planning on going -8AN all the way to the firewall. Similar to this, but without the gauge port. (Pic courtesy of RobAGD)
They are ready to ship. You will need a crossover and two dash 8 elbows. Also they will not tapped in the factory location like originaly planned because their is not enough material there to make a good seal. That has been the main delay in getting these out. In order to install these correctly you will need to feed them from a T fitting or Y fitting and then go into the rails from both ends. Give me a call tommorow and I can help you out.
