    Tam, it only gets worse.

Remember to take tooooooo many pictures, because they grow up too dam fast. I can't believe my son turns 5 this year and my little angel/devil turns 4!

They grow out of clothes like their is no tomorrow. It's hard, but don't buy the expensive stuff go to OLD NAVY, COSTCO, all the OUTLET places you can and first check the clearance. You will be lucky if they wear it 3-5 times. Most the time it's not worth the $20 or more dollars. I have done and will do it again I'm sure.

Enjoy her, especially before she can roll over, crawl, walk and oh chit "TALK"! Then comes the yelling, screaming and all that fun stuff!

Yea, right... You're going to buy them anyway. At least for the first year. Then you get a bit more practicle. For the first year things only fit for a month or so. After that you can buy things that might fit for a year but they're usually worn out or trashed before that. The frugal thing to do is have another kid a year after the first. Then you can justify everything by telling yourself the second one can wear it next year (see "worn out" above).

Here's a tip. Until they can walk, all the outfits you buy them are for yourself. The kid is probably going to be happier in a flannel bag.

Ryan is SO right! At 2 months old, my son is in size 3-6 month clothes. So... all the NB and 0-3 stuff we had is already being packed away.

I suggest buying some of the 'cute' clothes you want that they won't wear on a daily basis... you gotta indulge... they're only that age once!

Our little girl has a wardrobe that puts us too shame....some still had tags on it...lucky I know what the sex of the next one is. It wasn't just us responsible for buying all the cute stuff....the grandparents have been ridiculous.

Oh I'm going to fight the urge to go nuts shopping, because I remember how fast my brother grew and my friends' kids. That and the kids don't care, hell, they just make everything sticky. I also remember destroying a number of beautiful dresses when I was a toddler. But still, those are some of the cutest damn booties!! Stupid hormones..

Yes and I have a closet full of little dresses, some only worn once, but I cannot sell them or give them away, she is 13 now. I have huge trash bags full of stuffed animals too, and I when I look at each one, I remember where and when I bought it for her.

You are going to spend the first two years teaching the little one how to walk and talk and the next 16 telling them to sit down and shut up!!! LOL
