We have a very limited supply of factory new production 6.1L Hemi long blocks in stock. These are complete engines including the fuel injection system and engine harness. They are brand new engines in the factory shipping crates. We have been told that we are no longer able to get these engines in this form. The only other 6.1L engine from Mopar are the ones that come with the Mopar engines management system and cable operated throttle body. Those engines are considerabley more expensive as the additional parts add over $3000.00 to the motor. I can't believe that you can get a whole 6.1L replacement for about $5500, but the intake manifold as a part is over $1200.
WOW!!!! That's an awesome price for these beasts. Hmm, anyone whose blown a motor recently should probably look into this.
No limits, other than as of this morning, there are only 2 not allocated to customers. As I stated in the first post, Mopar WILL NOT ship us any more. Now if there was a SRT8 vehicle that needed an engine, we can get one to replace it if we have a VIN and an open repair order. The District Manager will have to approve the order as well. We are no longer allowed to re-order these motors for stocking or customer orders without meeting the above stated restrictions.
