Can't wait. Is there any disclosure as to the retail cost of each vendors product. That shoud probablly be arrived at before the resutls are public.

We did the 3 runs and put it back up on the lift to tear down and install HHP's heads for tomorrow's test. The results of the flow numbers and dyno numbers will be posted after all the test are completed.

    PPP was the baseline

    PR&D where tested today

HHP are being tested tomorrow afternoon

Mopar Racing / ET Performance are being tested Saturday, maybe Monday morning.

Reason for late testing on Mopar's heads is because I have Miester coming in for a stall converter install Friday morning.

I'd love to be able to tell you all the info as it rolls in but I think it would be unfair to the vendors that submitted the cylinder heads. Obviously one will make the most peak power and perhaps the most overall power, one will be the set that makes the least and the others will be in the middle. When the test has been concluded the data will all be inputed into graph's, data sheets, and anything else that will give accurate representation of the test. This will be the most detailed and informative testing done to late model Hemi's that I know of to date concerning cylinder heads. Once again I'd like to thank the supporting vendors, PR&D, HHP, Ted @ MPSC, and PPP that submitted to this testing, thank you.

But you guys are not tuning for individual heads right? You only tuned for the baseline?

I know you won't relaease the results till the end, but please comment whether there was a % power difference between the first two heads and what that percentage was without revealing which vendor did better.

    Thanks!

    2 questions

    Just playing Devil's advocate here.

Wouldn't PPP have a slight advantage being the base tune was done with their heads?

Wouldn't HHP have a slight advantage being that the cam was designed to run with their heads?

Theres no tuning to adjust for each head? So a better head may cause the engine to run leaner and cause some knock retard and have less power? Is knock retard being monitored to check for this?
