Got the crap scared out of me today!!

I went to drop off my car at Satellite Glass so they could replace my Windshield that Ron's rock throwing trailer had cracked

My coworker matt who AutoXes with me, came to pick me up.

On our way back to work (mind you that it snowed last night and there's ice everywhere) he nails the throttle and pass 4 cars and then
Attempts to make the right turn into our office but it went from dry to wet to ice in about 70ft

I was judging his turn and braking and could see that we weren't going to stop or make it.

When he starts under steering into the median sees he wasn’t going to make it straightens it out and actually come to a somewhat stop
We ended up driving up the wrong side of the road and then he made a fast "S" turn on to the correct side of the road but into the shaded icy area, he didn’t hit the brakes but ended up fishtailing full steering wheel lock, Countersteer, Countersteer, Countersteer, and Countersteer which pointed us in the entrance to the parking structure.

That was a type of scare that I have had in a long time.

But I was impressed that he did remember some of the stuff I had showed him during AutoXes and was able to recover the vehicle

Good recovery... I put my TA into a bridge on black ice in New London, CT... I feel you about the pucker factor!

YUP i sure did i ended up getting 32-35 mph after adding up all the gass recepets

but going from Flagstaff to phoenix i ended up getting close to 40 because it was all down hill.
