Just to wrap it up you should put that same post up on a MB site and see what kind of comments you get. To see WHY those guys like their cars and see if it's the same things that trip your trigger. I'm guessing it won't have quite the same flavor.

 

I am a little late here Chase but my 8.3 cents....do you want luxury or a "refined" muscle car?....I prefer the Charger...the refined version..

i vote for the charger. while the amg is a nice car, it's just not as fun. i can't drive a boring car, it drives me nuts. i want to be behind the wheel of something that....well as that caddy commercial says, when i turn it on it returns the favor. that's part of why i kept the damn neon this long. i've wanted to get rid of it numerous times, but every time i turn it on and drive away i smile and remember why i got it and modded it. that makes it all worth it to me. i don't care about what other people think, if it's not a mature car or if i should be driving something more conservative. i want to enjoy my car, that's why we're all here.

pick the car that's going to make you happy when you drive it, not just sitting in your driveway. if you get in the amg and 20 minutes later you're bored, forget it.

Trade the Charger and you gain all that the Benz has to offer... plus, you get to lose all of us as pals!

Do you have one of those high end car rental places by you? I know you live in Huckleberry Bologne Sandwich Country, but maybe you do have one of these type of places down there! If you do why not rent it for a week and drive the shit out of it to see if you like it. You can't tell what a car is like on a 15-30 minute ride (IMO)! If the dealer will let you take it for at least an hour drive. Only you know what will make you happy. I've owned a Ford Mustang Cobra, GMC Typhoon, F250 with an 8-inch lift and driving several of my friends high end cars. I love my 300 SRT8, but that is just my opinion. I've always wanted a badass 4 door in my price range (pesos)!

I should give you my buddies number. He is going to drop a v-12 twin turbo into an S-class. It is supposedly going to throw around 700 hp at cha.......................................Now that is a badass 4 door (PERIOD!)

v12 TT would be an s65. the e63 is in a whole diff ballpark though in comparison to the SRT8. if you have the money, that is the only way to go.

 

go with the 63 you get power and class with the charger you just get power

Chase, we're gonna love ya either way. If you want the Benz, don't feel 'guilty' about it. Its an awesome car and offers everything the Charger does, and more. Heck, they're made by the same comapny anyway (well, at least for awhile they were).
