I might have some R compounds in the garage. Let me know what size wheels you are running (17's or 18's) and I'll see what I have.

 

Power is not going to be the issue here. 325 is plenty for you right now. Handling, braking and the driver mod will be paramount for your first few events. Speed will come with seat time.
What size tire do you have on the fronts on the 555 extremes? A 315 in the rear is excellent for straight line traction but the car may push in the corners that much tire in the rear. Do you have another set of throw down wheels for the event that we can mount up some matching tires? I only have two sets of S197 wheels but they are the incorrect offset for your car. If you don't, I'll talk to Frank (PBMC) and see if he has any wheels we can borrow. We also need to do some suspension tweeking.
Brake fluid flush (ATE600 or Motul) and some new pads before you go.

 

Well the most common size is the 275-40-17 on 9" wheels. I only have two Kumho Victoracers in that size. All the others I have are Hoosier 275-35-18's.
For your first few events, you really don't need R compound tires, a good High Performance Street tire may actually be better for you. They are more forgiving-in your learning stage, that is important too. What size are the 555's you have on the front?
I would suggest flushing your complete braking system with high temp brake fluid like Motul 600 or ATE Super blue. Also, get a high performance brake pad such as a Hawk HP+ or similar. The high performance brake fluid and pads will lessen the probability of brake fade.
