I see them now on Ebay for $200 plus shipping. Why did I think they were cheaper than that?

I know whose fault it is...

Yep. Rick just HAD to let the cat out of the bag. SOB!

What we need to do, and let's be proactive, is start a thread/sticky on tire prices, locations, shipping, etc. etc. etc. That way, when the time comes, and it will for all of us, to get tires (most likely the "V-Tires"), it'll make it easy.

The best price for Vredesteins is still Fairmount Tires, 323-750-2840, owner Jerry will sell the 275/40ZR20's for $150 INSTALLED! ($140@TIRE FOR LEO).

    Here's their link; http://www.fairmounttire.com/home.html

They truly are the best tires out there for our whips.

There is more than one place with them on ebay now (275/40/20) make sure it's the place in Canoga Park, CA. They had them for $190 buy it now. They countered my $155 each offer saying $165 was the best they would do. I beat them down to $155 since they charge a flat $20 each shipping and I'm 100 miles away. These guys do a good job and ship very quickly.
Fairmount is the better way to go if you are local or if they ship...

Hahaha, you kept refering to our "database". I was just going to point out that since you're STAFF it would be YOU that creates it on the site somehow and somewhere.

Collecting some data would be a wonderful contribution as well. Remember that as STAFF it's your obligation to serve the members here(the site's most valuable asset). As a GENUINE member I have a couple of things. I'm planning on switching from the Mopar to the AFE Stage II here shortly. Mainly for the rubber tube. I do love the sound of the Mopar and don't know what the AFE will sound like. Can you run around and listen to everyone's CAI and put together a comparison chart?

You can jump on that right after you get the measurements from Rick's suspension. :thumb3:

Dave, in true John Belushi "Animal House" fame, I formally proclaim your new name as "Data". To you the forum is a means to collect relavant and accurate information. To Jason, it is a social club! :pleasantry:

I second this motion. Quick is now Data! HAHAHA I love it. And for Jason, at least he's trying...I DO notice he's getting more and more interested in straight line velocity!! WOOt!

Straight line velocity...ehhh! It's like buying an automatic machine gun and taking it to the range to sight it in...one shot at a time! That's why I'm such a big fan of the "V's". They are as sticky in the straight (or gay line) as all other non DR/Slick tires, and much more of a perfomance tyre than ALL the rest! Hehe

Ya sad to say, but there's not enough twisties around this area to really enjoy safely and without getting a ticket or going to a track. I am seriously considering going out to Mosport to try their course though..supposed to be the shiz.

Maybe the price is going up, but mine came in the mail today in staggered 315 and 275 Series version.
