I don't think that anyone is saying the Patriots are not deserving to be put up there with the great teams. As I said I think what they have done in this day and age of the salary cap is very commendable. I just don't think one can say they or any other team is the greatest ever. They were very fortunate to go through this season pretty much injury free. Let Brady get injured like Rivers and see were they would be.

you have to judge teams only by other teams in their generation...i mean if these pats played a team in the 60's htey would DESTROY them cause they are bigger faster and are just all around different players...so its unfair and unrealistic to compare teams that are from different eras...so yes you should appreciate a team for their accomplishments in that time...

I hate to repost but in this case I think it is appropriate! The Pats have been living a dream by playing in a weak division and catching teams at the right time. The Ravens and Eagles should have beaten them earlier this season, now the New York Football Giants have brought them back from dreamland to reality. Congratulations New York!

i have to give the pats credit though, i was on the edge of my seating waiting for the infamous "big play" that the pats are very capable of pulling off, i was so nervous. in the end Big Blue's Defense was just too much........
