    Pats vs. Giants

This could be the most lopsided Superbowl final score ever.

    Go Pats!

Well you guys will have to agree that if the Pats win that this will be the only time in our lifetime that someone can go all the way undefeated.

It would have been cool to see the Chargers go to the Super Bowl, but... like Chris said, they killed themselves when they snatched defeat out of the hands of victory 4 times when they were in the red zone and only managed field goals. Drive the ball down the field, then crap-out. Pats stepped it up and the Bolts stepped it down. Didn't help that LT was out and Gates was likely 80%.

Give credit to the Pats, regardless. They're about to add to their historical season. They'll go down as the best team ever.

Brett Favre... throws a pick in OT. That was the game. Sad way for it to end.

Giants... never liked them. When Eli pulled that draft stunt, I lost any respect I might ever have for the guy. Hall of Fame QBs got drafted by crap teams in small markets and made their careers awesome (Jim Kelly, Brett Favre, for example).

I say blowout because Eli has had what, 4 great games?!?! He's bound to screw up, and there's only 1 game left.

    :moon: :novote: hahaha

As much as i wanted the Giants to win...I did not want them to win on a Brett Farve INT...A fumble by someone or something or a quick 3 and out was what I was looking for...but it is what it is I guess...

As far as the draft siutiation...i guess you have ZERO respect for John Elway too...

"Elway was selected as the first overall pick by the Baltimore Colts. Elway had, by then, played two summers of minor league baseball for the New York Yankees organization. Additionally, Elway had publicly stated that he refused to join the Colts organization, feeling the team could not allow him to be successful. If they did not trade him he said he was going to play baseball. Eventually, Colts owner Robert Irsay gave in. The Colts traded him to the Denver Broncos for QB Mark Herrmann, rights to OL Chris Hinton and a first-round pick (OG Ron Solt) in the 1985 NFL Draft on May 2, 1983. John Elway is one of three quarterbacks in the history of the NFL Draft (started in 1936) to be drafted #1 and go on to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame."

I think that Eli will be OK in the SB...not Tom Brady...but OK

I've been quite impressed by the Giants run lately and they seem to thrive on playing the underdog on the road. And that week 17 game was CLOSE, way closer than the Pats wanted and it should put a scare in them for the SB. I still think the Pats win but not if Brady plays how he did yesterday, he's gotta step up and play like, well, Brady! Pats by 10.

And all you Bolts fans don't despair, with a healthy LT they win that game yesterday, no doubt about it. They're young and tallented and will be back. I see them in the SB next year, possibly winning it all (if they don't play the 49ers again ... sorry, that was a low blow).

Not sure I can agree with the best team ever thing. I am not taking anything away from them but come on, their division was like division II college competition. Not to mention that there were really no other dominant teams thanks to the parody that the salary caps have ushered in. Now I will give them allot of credit because in this day and age with these caps being such a decisive factor they have managed to thrive.
