John P. ran an 11.7@120mph yesterday with a 1.90 60ft. His mods are; PPP 426 PPP Stage 2 Heads PPP Race Warrior Cam PPP Half-shafts CAI Stock headers Stock cats Drag radials Stock converter He just bought a new converter from us, so he should be in the low 11's very soon.
Who is John P.? Screen name? What vehicle? 300, Charger, Jeep? SRT-8? Timeslip? Do you have more accurate numbers, or was it literally 11.700?
I believe his screenname is 8yourm5. He drives a charger. The 11.70 is exact, the mph 120.XX. The 60ft time was 1.9x. He will be posting the slip eventually Im sure.
Um, Andy...I think John drives a 300SRT8. His username is 8yourm5 here and 1sweetsrt8 over at the OC. Congrats John! Awesome runs!:thumb::beer:
No way to say anything but wow to those numbers. I am still in the 12's.... At least I have my 60' down to 1.789. C.
Maybe you can persuade Frank Racing to get my brand new 2,800 Pro torque converter over to me. I bought one when Kelly was going to do the motor and FRI got it from Kelly. Then FR "borrowed" it to fill a customer order and I can't even beg them to give me back my money or a replacement. Only thing I can figure is they must think I owe them my $800 converter for their help. C.
I forgot about that Carl. That sucks. I don't know the guys at FRI. I had some spirited discussions with them awhile back. LOL
Thanks guys. I am waiting for my torque converter, Should be here next week. If any one in the bay area would like to come help me with the driver mod that would be great! I might as well beusing stock tires to! I will put the pic of the time slip up soon. Yea I am happy with my new all motor time. I ran a 12.02 at the same MPH last week but I had a retarted timing tune. So I added 7 * and ran much better.
I would be real carefull adding that much timing. Please monitor Kr while doing that to make sure you are not detonating.
