Thanks to "Bud" and other SRTC members raving about their Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tires, I took the Silver Bullet down "the hood" (that's Slauson Ave. & Figueroa St., South-Central L.A.) for some new shoes. Got a killer deal from owner Jerry whose had the shop since 1958 at that location, and got Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 275/40ZR20's on all (4) corners. ($150@tire, which includes force-road balancing, mounting, etc. $140@tire if you're a LEO!!!) Here's their web site; http://www.fairmounttire.com/home.html I previously had Toyo Proxes 4, 275/40ZR20's which I liked, but these Vredesteins :band:!! Took it home and found an empty stretch on the WB210 near La Tuna Cyn. and wound her up to 140mph. WOW, what smoothness and stability, on the twisties she just hangs in their and gives you a safe feeling. Great out of the hole too. Leave it to the Dutch to invent a great tire at such affordable prices. Best $613 I've spent to the beast todate. Can't wait to put some KW-V2' on later this year. If you're in So.Cal. and ready for some new rubber I fully agree with Bud that these tires are the best bang for your buck. Here are a few pics;
Glad you like them! They are a great tire. Once more people get them and rave about them others will realize how good of a tire they are.
No...but I do promote products that actually improve our cars performance...not turn it into an R/T poser car! Hehe
Holy crap! You installed those one-way tire spikes in your garage! Now that's a serious anti-theft device. :surprise:
First, congrats on the new tires. God choice! They'll be my next shoes as well. Secondly, where did you get your stock wheels chromed and the SRT painted red?!?! I WANT that bad! And he tends to shy away from products that could be the difference between a brick wall and safety! Chris, I think your brake pads are tools. LMAO!!! Oooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Went right for the throat, using his senior EQ status! Niiiiiice! Chris, you going to the fling?!?!
Here's the link Jason, just ask for Blaine (Sales Mgr.) who also has a 300SRT and can hook you up. http://www.calchrome.com/wheels_dodge.php
Hey Jason, tell Blaine you want your LEO discount and he should be able to hook you up for around $150-$160 @wheel with red "SRT" paint. PM me when you get the green light from "The War Dept.",lol, and I'll talk to Blaine. BTW, congrats on "Lil Momo" you gonna love fatherhood.:smart: Maarten
