So schedules collided and I final have the Kooks on my Jeep (It took them almost two full days) A few quick ????? Is there a learning curve for the PCM to adjust the the heads? If so how much time/miles are needed? Whats the code for the CEL that gets thrown because of the O2 sensor?
About 35-100 miles and you will see the CEL come on. You have a 2008 so only B&G can turn it off at this time. Code is p430/p420......catalytic inefficiency.
spark plug non fowlers will work. You need 2 for each side drill one out, stack them put them in the bung then put the 02 sensor at the end of them (should thread right in) this pulls the sensor away from the hotter gas flow, worked on my truck for years and was only 12.00 you can also buy them already made here http://3rdstrike.biz/cart/index.php...d=1545&zenid=e1fa873facf05cd52a0ea959ed6c6511

Exactly what I did on mine......I still get the Cel every 90 miles or so Welcome to the KO-KOOKs clan
They dont work......you still get a CEL. I think your better of living with the CEL until Diablo comes out with an 08 Predator. Its around the corner....I volunteered them my 08 ECU a couple of weeks ago.
Hey Jeep Trick, congrats on the header install, how does it sound compared to stock? Also, I noticed on your sig that you don't have an exhaust system, are you planning to upgrade in the future and if so which will you choose?
Sounds GOOOOD!!! Ya I want to upgrade, but an in a quandary as to which one At the moment probably B&B, But I am not making that decision right now Don't want over the top, but want louder than stock
Oh....you left the stock system on. The Mopar/Corsa flow about another 250cfm according to Corsa, the others cant flow any more or much less IMO. I bet it sounds pretty aggressive none the less.

Yeah anything you upgrade to will defenitely be louder than stock! can't wait to get my headers on, I just bought a Stainless Works headers from GotStroke?(Andy) and just waiting to put then on. Its going to be paired up with the Zoomers exhaust!:tooth: Its going to be loud! I'm almost hesitant to put it on because the exhaust alone is loud already!
Get with Andy (GotStroke?) and get the Stainless Steelworks exhaust system. With those headers and a better flowing exhaust you will be amazed at the difference, just running stock exhaust is probably robbing you of the full potential of those hedders
These don't work on the Jeeps Sarge? man they work beautiful on the Rams, I just did mine and now I'll half to get a different Muffler cuz the AT3030 is now way to loud.
Ya I'm likin the improvement, nailed it at 80 and it just ate up the road to 130 alot quicker True I wasn't planning to do Kooks first but I found a deal on them second hand and I hear everybody doing cat back then headers and deciding to buy another set of cat backs because the first are now to loud. Hopefully I'll get it to my taste with just one purchase I actually really like the way they sound now
cool LT hedders are a great addition to any Hemi engine, have fun this weekend and have fun filling up all weekend as you will be out playing
This mod only works on the 5.7 models and some LX guys seem to have luck with it. It will not work on the Jeep....I and a few others have a whole garage full of those things.
When you put those Zoomers on with headers....I guarantee you if you dont have buzzing and rattles now in your cabin.....standby.. Oh yea get ready for the mother of all drones...
