OK folks. The 10 cent question before I go to bed:

With the standard 91 Oct CAI tune from the Predator, how will this interact with high flow catalytic converters? Harm or increase performance?

It will run a bit leaner. I had to add fuel across the whole band. There will be no problem if you do this. (And I was just looking at the Kooks myself ;)

momo - i have the hi-flows and since installing them i have not faired to well on the dyno, but the sotp feels better at higher rpm's. i think my dyno issues are seperate from the cats, but i will know more in a few weeks after i address my issues and see how things go.

I have $$$ from Christmas and my bday that could cover the purchase of the cats... or go towards suspension (that's up in the air).

She vetoed because of moola, not the fact that they're illegal in CA and make the car a bit louder.

Hey, I'm about 10-0 in impromptu street races! And a 4.62 0-60 before the tuner! I can launch if I got my "A" game on. Even jumped on, and then walked my neighbor driving his Evo (launching at 5000rpms).

I know of your dyno problems. That's why I'm curious. Moe also has the tuner and cats, and from what I've heard, his dyno wasn't too hot either.

I wonder if you have a canned tune and something other than the CAI/Catbacks (EQ: high flow cats) that you NEED to have your car CMR tuned.

    Adam, what say you?!?!

You shouldn't need a CMR for CAI and exhaust (unless you do long tube headers).

Issue being: suspension is double the cost of the hiflocats.

True... true... I can probably still get Momo at the light though.... even with the extra 300 pounds in the trunk... He is good about watching other things instead of the light! Lol!

Moe and I actually gained a big increase on the Dyno (Over 400 rwhp)with the cats, but like you said, I feel like my torque is not as strong on the takeoff but sweet at higher RPMs.

Ya... don't want to get too excited at the beginning... they usually lose interest and don't play any more after that...

Look at Drew paving the road with excuses already! Listen, if you're gonna use that lame-ass rationale ("well, I've got 300 lbs of stereo equipment, so of course you won..."), then just turn down the Justin Timberlake and drive, damit.

Until you beat ANY of us or at least even hang with a fellow SRT (when you are driving)... you are not allowed to even post thoughts of winning..

Until proven... from now on, you are just the flag girl at the proving grounds and the local area!
