Driving on Olympic Pkwy, Chula Vista, around noon today, I see a all blacked out GT500 (rims too). Guy was about 50 years old, give or take. I scoot up next to him and he slows down! Well below the 50 mph speed limit.

I was like "WTF?"... either this guy doesn't race, doesn't know how to drive, is chicken sht, or his car is a fake (I've seen fake GT500's at dealerships... called the Shelby appearence package).

So, he backed down, either way you look at it... I suppose.

I just saw one as well. At the Chevron at Scripps and Pomerado. It was white, hoodscoop with twin grey strips, said GT500 on the side.
The guy was coming out of the mart when I drove by, he was about 45-50 and putted off like a granny...

In my experience when that happens theyre usually full of it. They don't want to end up with a nice kick in da butt! Probably just appearance.

    Oh really,

You trying to chalk up another win! Let me guess was a female driving your sled when you flew/drove by Santa Claus? I think it may have been Rick's strapon you like to wear as a head bandana that scared the mature driver away.:ninja:

Nah....at that mature age, if he's anything like me, he simply slowed down to try and remember where the hell he was supposed to be going. :bigwink:

I saw a black one today too Jason. He was in Mission Valley on Fenton Parkway (by the Costco). I know his is real though. I met him a couple months ago. He hangs out with Patrick (with the supercharged Viper).

Yeah, I met that guy too (not the guy I saw that day in this thread). Your guy has a differnt blower in his... they both said his 500 was nearly as fast as Patrick's Viper!

I think he was just scared of all your mods!
There's a blue GT with the tag that says WHPL GT on it... he's OK at the launch, but he needs to get his money back for the top end. Maybe he changed his gears to be better at take off and no top end.

I think I raced that guy before Drew. It was actually my first race with my 426 in. I sat there and roasted my tires for a good 5 secs. before I started moving. He got all cocky and acted like he was the shyt. Little bastard didn't want to run me again. I think he is an automatic also. If it is the same guy, he is one of the members from that mustang crew I had problems with. (Stangpede) I think he lives in Chula Vista also.

Ya, if I can beat him, you'ld roast him. He thought he was all that when he passed me at the light. I didn't see him until it was too late, but I caught him at the next light. Looked at him with a $hit eatin' grin... and walked him in less than 1/16 of a mile. He sounded pretty good with his S/C and was proud enough to list it on his plate... guess he opted for the cheaper one! Lol!

Yeah, the funny thing is ...... get this....... he gave the leader of Stangpede (Ernie, who owns Hardcore Stangs in Santee) about $40,000 to fix his car, and that's all he got out of it. I am no mustang guru, but if I drop 40k into my car it better be a hell of a lot faster than his is. What a dumbass. He was raped and taken advantage of by his own crew member.

Dauuuum! That's cold! He definitely needs to go get his money back. Like I said, he was OK out the whole, but man, no top end what so ever! Maybe he missed a gear or something, but like you said, it sounded like an automatic! Lol!

I know the guy your talking about. He is a younger kid with dark hair. That mustang crew along with the young yahoo were in the parade held at Otay Ranch Mall this past weekend. I wasn't impressed with any of the mustangs in their club.
