Funny thing is, is that the only race I've lost was one where Drew, Rick and I were lined-up and I had to slow for a dumptruck ahead of me. Then again, they'd have beaten me with their mods anyway... Rick's gotten me a couple times, come to think of it... but if we're talking 'stranger' street races, I'm somewhere around 10 and 0. I know Rick and he didn't go apeshit-WOT with his family... why would he have to anyway, against an 04 Mustang GT?!?! Rick would cut all our throats with his bare hands while our wives slept peacefully next to us... all without spilling a drop of blood, before he'd even allow his kid to stub her toe! I remember riding in my Dad's 1977 LTD, leaning over the front seat, on the NYS Thruway... ah... the old days. My wife raced and beat some Mercedes twice while she was like a month pregnant... with my Mom in the car!
It's true even nowadays lol. In some parts of Europe all the kids like to sit in the front, babies are held, and seat belts are a nuisance. lol
