It's easy to set up more specific forums but it's harder to watch them go unused.

    I agree with you ;)

There's a few forums on here that are like that.

    Favicon

I haven't been on the site in some time. It looks GREAT!

Can we get a FAVICON for the address bar? Most of my bookmarks don't have any description. Instead, the majority of them are favicons from the various sites I visit :)

    Whatcha say?

    Bob

you know how myspace and facebook have mobil sites. is there a way we can do that with the C? i get on my phone and it sucks LOL. so i upgraded my phone and its a little better. but still to wide to fit on my phone. i have to pan side to side to read. some of us dont have the fancy Iphone so a dumbed down version of the site like the 2 sites listed above might grab more traffic because a phone is always with someone.

just something i was thinking about at work this weekend while watching youtube and constantly on myspace and facebook. :)

they just need to add a simple mobile skin like i just did on my site, and itll make it alot easier to people on phones other than the iphones and such to access forums..

alot less graphic oriented so itll load faster, and will fit on a tiny screen like my 2" screen on the rant.

I personally, and I know this will get a lot of backlash. But I miss the old beautiful graphics and cosmetic details the site used to have. I know it loads a little slower, but are people seriously still using dial up 56K?? Isn't that like betamax, lol?? I dunno, I just thought it was "cooler" looking back in the day, but that's just me. I'm sure I already know the answer to that one.....
The color theme and backdrop could change a little bit as well. It's super hard to read some colors of font when they're used. And I think the "car type and color" phrasing in the avatar section is totally pointless. It doesn't cover all the bases, and everyone puts that info in their siggy anyway. Other than that, I DIG IT!!!! Still one of my favorite sites around!!!! To be honest, it's 1 of only 2 that I frequent.......

I was about to start a thread asking this, and see diboblo did already!

This would be very convenient to me (and I assume others) since it gives you a quick visual on your bookmarks... I use a toolbar on my browser, and right now this site is the only one without a distinguishing icon... See the drab white rectangle? That is SRT/C!

Anyway - I went so far as to make you one (takes about 2 seconds online) - And I just copied this image to do it...

It is attached in the favicon.zip file. Just unzip that and upload it to the root directory of the site... Then just copy and paste the following code to the <head> section of the sites pages:

    Code:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" >
Or... you could say shut up noob, and that would do, too. :)

*Waits for Mains to lash out* lol

I know we used to have a favicon, but the turd who made it has been banned for being a crook and POS. lol

I like yours, BB. Thank you.

since we sold the site, it moved servers. Probably why it disappeared?

Hopefully the new owner sees this and makes the correction. :)
