Modern Performance. I do not believe any of our current vendor's sell them. But if they do, I would suggest going with them first

are you looking for the full stage 3 or just turbo? The///Man is a great resource on S3 may want to hit him up.

S3 with toys is the best way to go. We can get any Stage Kit.

Last time we priced out a S3 kit without toys it was $2,7xx for us without markup to a customer. I see Modern Performance marked there's up greatly. But then again prices maybe have gone up so we would have to get in contact with Dodge again for a current price.

I believe you are pricing out the Stage 3 upgrade kit, which requires you to already have Stage 2 installed.

The full Stage 3 kit runs around with toys $3700, knock a few hundred off if you don't want toys.

To the OP, I'd go with a full stage 3 kit with toys, that's what I've got right now, and it's pretty much plug and play, no tuning necessary. Of course... there's a ton of tweaking you can do after that... mine is port matched all around, ceramic coated, cryo treated, blah blah stuffs... ;)

it depends on what you want with the car. just a bolt on and go then get it with toys. if you're going ot seriously tune it (ie: ems) then don't get toys.

and modern is probably the worst place to order any stage kit from. they take forever and are horrible at letting customers know what the status is with the orders. if you're going to order anything mopar go to either jeff@mpsc or jimmy@ s&p. either one will give you a great price and great customer service. i ordered my kit from jeff and it was on my doorstep 12 days later, can't ask for more than that.

    Interesting input thanks PSI-Chick :salut:

MPSC is a vendor here. Hit up Jeff or Ted here. Their forum is located in the vendor section.

Modern isn't slow at all, they're very responsive and will communicate with you if you need to know something. The Mopar Stage 3 kits have been on national backorder for a few months now, nobody can get them, not MPSC or S&P at the moment. One of the parts for the kit is being held up, so they aren't shipping at the moment.

What do you have in your car btw? Nice trap speed there =].

It was not the upgrade kit. I'm fully aware of what kits are out there and what's included in them. The price I mentioned was what WE can get it for without toys. You pay for LIST price we don't. The price for the S3 without toys YOU would pay walking into the dealership would be $3,4xx.xx.

Hope you understand what I meant now. We get Mopar/Dodge parts for less then an average customer would walk in and get them for. I am aware of how much these kits cost to a regular customer and what other websites have them listed for.

and here's ted to the rescue. i've ordered from them many times and always had great prices and fast shipping. speaking of which i need to call you guys about the tj soon, i need some stuff :)

srt4evah - modern does not have the communication with flightsystems like mpsc does. when i ordered my s3 i got emails from jeff letting me know that the order had been placed, when it was shipped to them, and finally when it was on its way to me. and i didn't ASK for the updates, he sent me info because that's what a good vendor does. modern does not do that. i know many people that ordered various stage kits from modern. they take twice as long as mpsc does, never have a clue what's going on with your order (they always "have to call and find out" but mysteriously never call you back to let you know). i even had people cancel orders with modern and order from mpsc and still got it faster then if they had stayed with modern. they're a great vendor, just not for mopar stuff. stick with the mopar experts there :)

and yes, i have s3 w/toys thanks to mpsc :)

Ok, I won't argue about Modern vs. MPSC, I've ordered stuff from both with no delays or issues, but never the Stage kits so I trust your word on it.

What do you have besides toys? I'm just wondering cuz I have a ported toys kit and a buncha bolt-ons, tb, o2, dp, etc. but the best I've trapped is 117... though I've had boost leaks since I got the 4. Curious what I ought to expect it to trap when I get the boost leaks fixed.

depending on how serious your leaks are you could get 1-2mph more.

i have an unmolested s3 turbo, with tbe, tb, fmic, w/i, race head, dtec, cams/gears, wga, etc. basically full bolt-ons. my dab does not work anymore but the magic red button still does. i have fuel (return and 825cc's) and a ems going in soon (when it's not 10 freaking degrees out and i can install). my highest trap is a 124, i'm hoping to do a 10s before i pop the motor.

Ah, you have a race head and cams, that's where that extra oomph is coming from.

I have a Ragetek -10an rail and a return line off of an Aeromotive adjustable FPR, I'm using that to tune the fuel. Planning to go with either a PTP 50lb wheel or DCR 49lb wheel and some 750's, and SAFC-II or Neo for fuel, but that's all after the meth kit goes in.

How much meth are you spraying? How many nozzles and what size, and where are your activation points? I'm planning to do (3) 5gph nozzles that will read off of the stock boost solenoid, maybe activating at 5/10/15psi, but I'll be tweaking the activation points based on where I get kicked out of HOM. Maybe I should start a new thread about meth injection... heh.
