For those of you that haven't been shown the light, here ya go:
    http://www.adamspolishes.com/

And for the best way to kill a couple hours, for your anal retentive side:
    http://www.adamspolishes.com/t-videos.aspx

So you have support and can ask questions:
    http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/cmps_index.php

I've bought over $1500 in Adam's products in the past 4 months. It's taken ahold of me and my rides have never looked better. Honestly, the difference has lied in product, and TECHNIQUE. I've always been obsessed with paint care, but these products, forums, and videos have taken my detailing to a whole new level. I hope I can turn you guys onto the best products known to man.

And at a deeper level, to make the tools side of things the best. I already have this:
    http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-571-...ose-car-wash-nozzle-shut-off-valve-combo.aspx

    And I just bought these:

Just thought I'd share with my SRT/C boys & girls, for those of you looking to kick the detailing up a notch!! :)
(No I don't work for Adam's, lol. I just thought I'd share the revolution that's been happening to my wallet.)
And for those of you that are loooooong time Mother's/Meguiars/Turtle Wax users like I was. LMAO. Let me just put it this way, I knew about Adam's for MONTHS before I finally decided to try it. And I'm here to tell ya........store-bought-off-the-shelf crap can't even TOUCH what Adam's can do. Quit sitting there shaking your head like I did for all those months. Because you're wrong. That Black Ice, Ultimate, Showroom, blah-blah-blah description on the box is crap compared to Adam's. This comes from a previous Meguiars junkie for 7+ years. The difference is unmeasurable. :)

    lmao

Well you may not work for Adam's, but god damn Chase, you might as well send them a resume. ;)

The products used depends on the person and how hard they want to work at making a show room look. It also depends on the actual paint and clear coat on the car...

Like you, I have used many different brands of detailing materials with varied results. What I have learned in the years of building show cars/trucks is that once a top notch paint is applied, and a normal cleaning/detailing schedule is done, the "Off the shelf" products (Meguire's is my choice) are pretty darn good.

By the way, Meguires has a professional line as well (not typically found in a parts store). Just saying. ;)

Glad you are happy with the product you are using as that is really all that matters. ;)

richie carbone turned me onto the adams stuff back in april of 09' when he did some paint correction for me. never used anything else. stuff is awesome. just picked up some of the waterless wash from adams after using some i "borrowed" from chase at the shindig. cleaned all the track mess off the car and left it smooth and streak/film free with ease! definately good stuff!

Thanks for the info. I have been guilty of using the local auto parts store big brands.

I'm trying to decide how to I should go about fixing paint chips and get rid of swirl marks.

Used a polishing compound this last weekend and waxed it too. Looked good, just want to use the best of what I can.

Thanks for the links. I've been on Autogreeks looking to see what they have. Really thinking about picking up one of those Cyclo polishers. Just wasn't sure what product to use with it.
