So for the past week after work I have been installing my kit in my garage. The kit is very well thought out and the directions are easy to follow. There were some things that weren't perfect but were easily remedied. I did not follow the directions in order due to being by myself and not being able to set the supercharger for that reason. I saved the super charger setting til last. DCSpecial(Dan) helped me set it and Ekaz(Eric) showed up I think to take it if it wasn't on the Jeep yet. LOL. I appreciated the help. I still have to load the new tune because we had some issues with the original sent tunebut that is being taken care of as I write. My install took a little longer because I needed to relocate my trans cooler and that added a bunch of extra steps behind the bumper. If you are wondering if you can do it and are somewhat mechanically inclined it can be done. The directions are very well written and with color photos to boot. Big thanks to Joel and Mark for being available late at night. Here are some pics from along the way. For use with my WERKS CAI The beginning. The middle. The pump install. More middle. Trans cooler relocated The underside since nobody ever shows this. The end give or take a few things
Great job, Chad. I LOVE the look of the S/C. Really does look OEM. NOW, go out and ENJOY that new found power. Learn to drive her all over again.
I am refraining til tomorrow. Had some tuning issues and some human error stuff but they are fixed now. Can't wait Do you have your car back yet? Thanks Chase. PM sent to make Hal happy. LOL Thanks Cam. It was quite a project but I took my time and got it done.
You were right about that statement. A little update. I am on my fifth driving revision. Waiting for the next one. Everything has been good so far. Power comes on much quicker. Haven't had any issues but I have less than 200 miles since install.
