New 2010 Challenger R/T w/ pics on pg2 I Just brought home a 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T. Traded away the 04 PT (oh Darn). local dealer had almost 7K off!! (car porn on page 2 its Raining here not best pics.) Car is dressed in White, no stickers, no Options. Just 6 speed w/ track pack 3.92 posi, and big brakes and 20's. LOVE IT!!!! $33955 msrp after rebates - $27200 how could you not! got 3.74% financing aswell! cant wait to put some miles on. Started with 12 miles. First ever brand new car! So that brings up the question... 500 miles and change the oil? Can i or should I run 0w30 Mobil 1 instead of 5w20? motor does not have MDS thanks goodness. and how about the skip shift eliminators.... should i get one and do they cause any issues.....

Yes I'm sure they do but I don't care... I was fed up with my PT. Leaking oil, broken this broken that smells like oil every time u trun on the ac. Wheel bearings, rattles ..... They can be MADD all they want.

I was very tempted to wIat but the refreshed interior isn't coming until 2013 so the only new thing on challengers is the 392 SRT. Beside 376hp and 410ftbs is so close to the current SRT. 1 BBK throttle body and a CAI away from making almost the same hp and tq as an SRT w/o the insurance cost. Only 200$ more a year the my PT ouch.

Porn I was shocked to look under the car and find Bilstein's installed already. Must come with the Trac-pack. So its has 177 Miles on it now and the Dash rattles! AWSOME! from the left side. something is rattling and its killing me. besides that all is well just took her to 5800rpms for the first time today. taking it easy until 500 miles changing the oil and filter and thrashing her for the next 500 and after that????? so What oil is every one running in these w/ the VVT motors.... i was thinking Mobil1 0w30.... thoughts?
Bilsteins have been OEM since 05... maybe that was just on the SRT8's??? lol Anyway, they are a decent shock set up. Use the oil listed on the oil filler cap. You can't go wrong.
It's purty in white...but it could use some more black accents. Maybe black out the center section of the rear lights, r/t hood stripes, possible black spoiler....oh, the possibilities.:hypno:
