I think it looks absolutely stunning!!!!!:worthy::worthy:

These cars look sooo much better w/o the door moldings...

What do you think of a silver firewall cover, ABS cover and coolant tank, then PC the intake manifold black and some sort of black or CF CAI. With the silver around it, I think it will really make the engine pop (and tie in w/ the black roof). Just a suggestion. I love all your cars, so I'm sure it will look good no matter what you do...:worthy:

I removed all of the emblems from the rear with fishing line, hit it will the eraser wheel and removed the adhesive, still had outline in clearcoat, so I used a buffing pad on a 3/8 cordless drill with some Meguiars Ultimate. Followed up with Fukken wax a few times...looks like new.

    I'll tackle the moldings soon.

I can hear it all the way on the west coast... a real short one. Not an awning like Fat Chance's.

You're kidding right? ...and the magic scratch remover from Billy Mays.

Depends on how you've cared for it so far. Mine has never seen a garage but it gets Zaino'd (UV protection) about every month or two. No paint fade.

[Let me repeat myself] You're kidding right? Let's think about this... glue/adhesive... soft, probably gooey when heated, sticky, variable consistency,... and we're going to hit it with a wheel on a power tool... yea, that's the ticket. Oh, yea, where do you think all that dust and grit is that went into the crevice between the molding and the body?

No good will come of this Kyle, you'll be following the infomercial trail looking for the next MIRACLE product to fix the last one. "eraser wheel", where do you come up with this stuff? :stars: Use your friggin thumb to roll it off of there. You'll get a blister, it'll look great, and you'll feel good about it.

LMAO....Dave, this isn't infomercial shit, it's what the pros use. I got this tip from a custom paint shop owner..a friend had a 69 Camaro SS painted there, and his DD truck vent visors were coming off. Shop owner pulled it off and asked a helper for an eraser wheel...guy came over and in about 3 seconds the adhesive was gone and, paint completely unharmed. I was like..WTF??

When I went looking for one, the guy at NAPA knew what it was, and sent me to the local Auto Paint PPG supply house. It's made by 3M, not some gimmic shit.

I did the complete emblem removal and clean up in about 10 minutes. Not a scratch, or swirl mark can be seen even in the lights. See pic previous page.
