          Tonight DRP ran a 10.98 and then backed it up with a 10.99!! We are so proud of him and glad to be his shop and friend. Tonight was a great achievement that makes all the hard work worth while. Time slip ... Video to follow ...
This was his first run with the Juice on this setup, so 10's first time out with 80 degree heat and 100% humidity was a great start. There is alot more in this car with the current setup in better conditions and more practice. Here is the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyRSO5wn5EY
Yeah, it took us a long time just to get him to go to the track! Now that he has the fever he is wanting to go all the time! I see low 10s in his future Then...
Thanks Ron.... it was a long time and Im glad to get here. I look forward to some more test and tune night because there is still some left on the table with this setup before I go to something more radical
His best was 1.54 I think, unfortunately he ran out of bottle at half track lol so he ran 11 flat, that would have been his best run if not for that. he was consistent with 1.6x's all night on the slicks
Hey, thats nice, wonder what it feels like to get grip from the start, mine just lights up in the first two gears... Fredrik
It's a feeling like no other Fredrik...gives you those roller coaster butter flies in your stomach. Congrats on the 10's!
Thanks, I will get to that  yeah, a solid hook up it sick..... really throws your head back. I still get a little slip on launch but I think I just need some practice Thanks Man! I do have to say, running was smoother then I thought. A few friends fo mine told me to hang on and the back end of the track might get a little squirlly ...... but from launch to finish, I have to say it was fairly smooth and at no point did the car feel like it was getting away. I guess that means I need more nitrous:blush:
Haha...Sure does. That motor is built for it, give it what it wants! Those heads, that cam, the CR, your exhaust... 175 out the hole, then progressive up to a 300 shot...whoooo! You will need that new tranny..
Thats the plan, and Im already running a Paramount Tranny..... BMC is building me a custom Sheet Metal Intake with a direct port setup. This isn't going to be running very soon but maybe by the end of the year. I think the plan is a 175 out of the whole and then a total of 300-350 Shot
Same thrill as getting the backend to squat on exiting a corner at 90 slightly sideways? Naaa, I´ll stay off the dragstrip, I´ll just need to upgrade the rear and tranny, enough money spent on mods for a while. At the moment I´m just trying to keep up with the gasbill! Fredrik
