Vreds and Repro = Road course fun

Hitting the track again on Saturday. This time with a full set of Vreds. Here are some pics of the new look.

Hopefully all the EVOs that I will be out there with won't be too modded. This track day is through a local speed shop that specializes on imports. Hopefully I will have videos up by next week.

on a happier note, how did the Vreds do?

G/L on the Tranny.

 

The Vreds did Ok. They actually gripped better when I first got out on the track. After the second lap they felt a little greasy but it was 90 degrees out. They are wearing pretty good for considering I am throwing 5000# into the corners.

You gotta try out the Nitto NT05's. Won't last as long but there's a reason for that.

 

Hopefully I won't have to buy any tires anytime soon. The cost of the trans and all that comes with it is going to set back my mods fund. :sick:

Ditto on the Nittos... for track & street tires they are really hard to beat...

:thanks:, when I go out there I make sure people know what a GC SRT8 when I'm done. I am sure they pay attention as I am passing them.
