My baterry was draing to the point every three days it needed a jump if not used the mechaniic narrowed it down to this, can anyone shed light on this. Hey It number 1-2-3 fuse There is also 3 relays on the same board 6 total on this board in the right side in engine compartment It is for extra heating unit
Hi Now this wierd, been sitting all day an only draws 0.009 amps (normal) as opposed to 0.8 amps before pully the above fuses, ill let the car sit an additional 3 days without boost an check the draw.
You gotta get a service manual for your car. Check here. They should have something available on CD (but I couldn't find the diesel). https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx
You only need the Service Manual. It covers pretty much everything (but it doesn't list the part #s for ordering). It's about 9,500 pages long... do not order the hard copy, shipping will kill you.
Well the problem was solved, we removed all fuses one by one till we found the source it was the extra heater, although we did nothing, pulling and putting back the fuses stoped the ETC light from comming back, 4 days hard driving an no light, fingers crossed, as opossed to everyday.
