I think that's 3 times it's been asked without a response.... I know things have changed since this, but Keisler tried this and scrapped the project because of the 3.06 R&P wasn't enough and the clutch wouldn't hold up...Are you guys planning on using the manual 09 Chally 3.92 R&P?
It was part of our original plan. Once we've completed it, we'll sit at the drawing board with the build list to verify that it will be able to be offered as a conversion. If so (for now) because of the complexity, I'm going to prefer that it's done within our walls. That may change and we may have a few dealers offering the install of the kit for us. I'll be sure to keep all informed. first we'll try the 3:55, if that fails, the OEM 3:92. The clutch we're using is badass, so the only speedbump unknown is the R&P with the amount of hp/tq that this combo will need to withstand.
my tuner told me that theres an option in cmr tunning to turn off the tcm. its use is for when your tuning the engine on an engine dyno. not saying its the answer to bypassing the tcm but it might be something to look into
hey guys i got a question. in kiesler's kit they had fitted a t56 into a charger with no modification to the tunnel at all, they just cut a hole on the tunnel to get the shifter through, how come u guys hacked up the tunnel like that?
I would love to have the 1st 6 speed SRT8 300, I have a little build going on myself here! can you guys price for me? I'm seriously interested!
We just added a ton more to the build list for this car. We're going to attempt to get it done by SEMA time as well as our Challenger. We're heading in a new direction, but still maintaining the entire build list from before. I'll let the cat out of the bag when I can. Customer would like to keep most of it under wraps.
hey guys, hope everyone is well. We've been plugging away at the Big Ed project more and more. Just wanted to update everyone. We've added a ton more to the list. I'll also be updating the list very shortly. For now, it has turned into a rolling shell, all wiring harness, boots, interior and everything else has been stripped. Front and rear suspension will be dropped early week and we're building a rolling dolly to get it around the shop while we start fabbing suspension, motor mounts, shock mounts, wide body for our carbon fiber wide body, custom hood and our 2009 ACR Viper engine/transmission. More SP Big Ed fab pics more pics.... [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] That's it for now, we'll keep you guys up to date as we keep at it. Motor is now apart, we're building it a bit and of course, detailing it with some paint and custom fabbed SP parts. -Ryan
i love your radiator, can i run that with just a 5.7 with heads/cam? its pretty basic, nothing crazy.
The Viper motor throws me, but still a very cool project. What are you doing for tuning of everything...planing on keeping it on the road?
