    After spending the whole weekend in the garage I´m done, not as in finnished and the car sporting all the mods, but beat in the car is still on the jacks and not even close to finnished!
    The major problem now is fitting the hub for the new powersteering pulley, almost there but need to get a bolt to force it on without ruining the pump.
    Then its the placing of coolant hoses, cheeeeezus, what a nightmare!
    After that its all the wireing for the guages, I´m an idiot when it comes to electronics so I think I´ll let someone else do that.
    One question though, the A/F sensor, can I replace one of the standard Lambdas or do I have to drill and weld?
    Getting the bolt tomorrow so I can continue, but it won´t be done in a hurry!

    Give Cam a PM on the Pwr Steering pulley.

    As for the O2 sensor for the Wide Band, you have to add the bung.

    Hang in there Freddy, it will all be worth it when completed.

    If I give in, I´m divorced...LOL
    Well, most stuff has put up a fight, as the manual provided by Vortech covers several cars, photos mixed back and fourth, it all makes for missinterpetations and frustration.
    But here it goes:
    * Facia off
    * Injectors installed
    * Blower radiator installed
    * Surgetank installed
    * Watertank installed
    * Waterpump installed
    * Pin in crank/crankdampener installed
    * Blowerbracket installed
    * Powersteeringpump installed (hub almost there, getting a longer bolt, a sturdy washer and a nut, heat the hub a bit and press on with the nut and washer thereby not putting pressure on the actual pump but only the axel.)
    * Fuelpumpbooster with all the wirering

    In progress:
    * When the hub for the powersteering is in place I can finnish the waterhoses, room has been made for the blower so that it just slips right in.
    * Blow off valve
    * Wirering the guages, as said before, I feel like letting a pro do that part, spent a good hour today looking at the instructions and not very much wiser afterwards...
    * Download the software into the car
    * Final checks on fluids and recheck on everything

    Pics has been taken but are all in my friends camera, will try and get them soon and post them!

    You *should* be ok or close with the downloaded software but until you get all your gauges in there I'd basically soft pedal it to the max until you can monitor everything and get some initial readings.

    Keep at it man, Rome wasn't built in a day, when it becomes frustrating work, step away for a while and have a cold one, then come back to it. All the work will be an afterthought soon enough. And you'll KNOW it's right. Good luck, and get those pics up.

    fredrick - here is a pic of where i mounted my resv. bottle for the water/air system i used to have. you have the same system except for the aftercooler itself. the pump, resv., hoses.....all the same as i used to run. this spot made for a very clean set up.

    [IMG]

    also, if you run into an issue getting the water to circulate through the system, you can prime the system with a garden hose. this will push out air pockets and get things flowing!!!

    I haven´t seen your car Ron, but I have seen Chris.
    If you gave him the idea or (probably) made it like that on your car and he picked up its well worth looking into!

    Yeah, he told me when we met up, but his car is detailed as hell, wish I could keep up with that, I also have understud that your car isn´t half bad either...
    Going to get mine detailed end of June when I start my vacation. Thought I´d learn it myself so I´ll practise on the Volvo first! LOL
    Now heading for the garage to look at some waterhoses...
