Just got done driving around in a car that I do not remember..... Today, I met up with David (inferno6.1) and swapped my custom done magnaflow exhaust for his stock 6.1 system. Thanks David and I hope you have fun terrorizing the folks in your neighborhood!! lol I was truly amazed at how loud my car was inside and out..... I am now literally hearing things I did not know made sounds!! lol From a performance standpoint, I have not noticed any drop in boost levels from before. I was a little concerned about the stock exhaust not flowing enough for the paxton blower. That does not seem to be an issue. Only issue I am having is driving the car a lot faster than before. When the car was loud, I soft pedaled it to try and not be obnoxious, but now, I am nailing the go pedal A LOT harder!! hehehehe Anyone have any thoughts as to whether I will see a difference at the track??
That is hilarious Chris. I have been considering doing this for a year as my Zoomers are just stupid loud. I am going back to a stock front and rear fascia also. COOL!
to be honest jon, i was a little worried, but the car seems as strong as before, seems to have just a touch better low end snap, and is just nice to drive without all the friggin drone!!! i can actually talk on my cell phone without issue!! lol
LOL!!! My cell phone was what did it for me also!!! If I didn't live in the middle of Eqypt I might be able to listen to other exhausts like Corsa or something. Mine are TOO loud...I don't have any cats so I am sure that doesn't help one bit.
jon - when i gutted my hi flow cats, that was the last straw...... i think when you hit 40, things like quieter cars are actually good things!! lol

Yeah Chris, loud is not the same as it was when I was a teenager....I backed some of the loud out of mine too..........The stock exhaust is free flowing except for the cats...if you dont have cats I bet you will see no diff in track perf....even with cats probably very little..

Well, I must say I agree with Chris on this, LOUD was fun when I was younger, eventhough I might would like a little bit more from my stock, but not so much that I would spend a grand on it... Nice it works for you Chris, your car sounded lovley before, sitting in my rental behind Ãt at the lights I could feel it in my chest! Fredrik
