Very kewl. haha, I thought the video was going to end right there at the garage door post. Maybe some acoustic foam over the mic? You DO have some sort of expendable filter like a UV or something over the lens right?

It looks like but it doesn't stick out farther than my side mirror. They have 2 back plates for the camera and that was the one to be used under 100mph. Doesn't work as well as it says. What you see is whatever the camera has built in. The camera is only about 2 inches big.

I would be soooo worried about that suction cup. I was thinking it would be good if they had a safety strap/wire in case the suction cup let loose ... and then I figured it would be a lot better to just have it hit the road instead of dangling there banging against the side of the car.

I have the older version with the suction cup and it won't come off. You can yank on it until the metal deforms and it won't let go. My only dissapointment is the sound quality.

I forget it gets below 70º in other parts of the world. I love mine, I only wish I could turn it on remotely. Sometimes I forget to get out of the car and press record.

    Good to know

That would be awesome, getting out and pressing the button is pretty lame.

The Motorsports Hero comes with a bunch of brackets and hangers so you don't have to use the suction cup all the time. They have a little tab that sticks to your helmet and you snap the camera on to that.

As long as the suction cup is kept clean and your not ice racing like Nevinsrt (Neon people) and don't hit something hard, and don't wax with butter, and don't pull 9 G's ..... wait, you have GCSRT-8 ..... careful with that suction cup! Oh, it's waterproof too.

i know it has alot of different attachments. mine has all those too but because im trying to get alot of different views and video i found its easier to use one mount since it works for almost all.

LOL the top of the car was clean and i wasnt ice racing!!! it was just snow cruising . its just that over time it (wind chill added) it got too cold for the suction cup and the camera came off at 45 mph.

My first test run with my GoPro and dead batteries

I like the desert drifting! Snow cursing ... I mean cruising, fun stuff. One of the tracks I run won't let me mount the camera on the side of the car, bummer. They think it could get stripped off by a drum or something. Next track day I'm mounting the camera facing backwards to see the faces of the people I pass! I love the camera. It's got some weak points but it's a real good starter motorsports camera IMO. Maybe I'll put some slasher stripes on my car for special effects. Keep the videos coming people.

thats dumb. its only a camera. i'd be more worried about the bigger metal parts that come flying off a car during a wreck then a lil 1/4lb camera.
