My CTS V is missing. I dropped it off in Decatur, Indiana on Thursday and flew home. While I have found it to be a really fun ride, to quote a good friend: "You never have too much horse power..." When I pick it up on Wednesday, I will have moved from 556 hp to 630. The boost is jumping from 9 to 14 lbs. The new insignia will be the only external change: It should be an exciting ride home!

Why would you up the boost on are car that was missing? Oh, got it. I thought you hurt the motor. Are they putting in a bigger heat exchanger too? Les

Way nice. Was in the staging lanes with John Lingenfelter at Bristol in 73 or 74. He had a green Vette running a stock class I believe. We were running IHRA formula stock with a 69 RS Camaro. We won class and 2 rounds of elimimator and then couldn't start due to a broken starter. Glad to see they are still around after John's passing.
There is a good story to go with the tragic death of John... In short...the new owner is also named Lingenfelter...not really a relation, but the same name...he had been a long time customer and a very successful business man who was also a dedicated gear head like most of us...but he was a little more successful (like 150 cars give or take a few)... Just seemed the thing to do...and it appears that he has retained most of the traditions and staff of John Lingenfelter and is positioning it for continued success in the future...look for them to move into MOPARS a little more in the future...(I saw a Challenger in their shop!!!!).
