Marc and I have been serious/exclusive what have you for six years now. Somehow he puts up with my high-maintenance-ness and keeps me smiling. And lets me follow through on hair-brained schemes like getting married in Vegas the night after SEMA '06 started or trying to get pregnant while doing track days at Willow Springs or even letting me go to SpringFest after last minute planning. Love ya honey!!
HUGE congrats Tam. haha I remember the Wedding Day like it was yesterday. hahahaha That was good times and I know with the two of you (and Maddy of course), your future will bring loads of good times that will TOP SEMA 06 with out effort.
Careful... you know how emotional Ron gets on these things... he's bad enough about blowing up engines, now he going to have to buy a new keyboard when he blubbers all over the computer...
Seven years now...and he's held up okay. Hasn't lost all his hair yet what with all the things I do to stress him out.
I somehow don´t think you´re that hard on him Tam, good wishes for the future and may you never catch up with me and Ulrica... Fredrik
Well, he quietly panics whenever I go out on the track. Not that I'm a bad driver, just that I'm driving really fast and he has to sit and watch helplessly on the sidelines. My first time at Laguna Seca (for an SRT:TE) didn't help much. I was the second of three 300s going around the big track. I think it was turn 2 where I had to make a sudden correction and the guy behind me, who was riding my butt all the way around the first lap, ended up burying his car in the gravel off the side. Well, Marc heard on the radio how a 300 went off the track but they didn't say who it was, so he had to wait until I came back around a few minutes later to know if I was okay. He tends to play things safe and I just like to have a little fun. Which driving a big honkin' tank around Laguna Seca while wearing a racing helmet is probably a lot safer than just driving in day-to-day freeway traffic, but good luck convincing him of that. Plus he likes to plan everything out like years in advance and I prefer to just throw things in the car and hit the road. The guy is a saint though, for putting up with me. I'm Irish, I'm red-headed and even if you buy into the Chinese astrology, I'm a Dragon. So anyway you slice it, I'm high-maintenance and scary. And he's still with me, horns and all after seven years.
Haha, opposites attract, Ulrica completes me as well. On the driving part, just tell him he can come along instead and watch the "madness" from the passanger seat... Ulrica is the planner of our trip (s) the longer ones at least, I only have to agree... I´m more like - Well this looks fun, lets go! She´s put up with me and myself for almost 13 years now... Fredrikizza:
Nah, he thinks I drive aggressively as is. He's never seen me screw up, but still he'd rather be sitting on the sidelines. LOL And congrats on 13 years.
