Heat exachanger took a rock

My car is down. If anyone knows where to get a replacment heat exchanger Im all ears.

Pick up a rock to my blower cooler and busted a hole in it. Drained all the fluids out and poof ...

You could probably take it to a Radiator shop and have them repair it?

 

Looking at a Vortec device now. I will be looking at a shop as well.

 

I'd say ship it here and I'd have it fixed, but it would be faster to have a local shop do it...

I told you, take it to a radiator shop. They can braze the core that was damaged.

 

It will get fixed... There is several options for him.. In town where he lives, in town where he works, or give it to me and i will hit one of the many in San Francisco where I work to fix it... But she will be running for Sprngfest......

 

I didnt know about the braze part. That will be the solution. :zorro:

We're thinking of getting it fixed and re-installing it Monday night so we can make the trip for NorCalSRT-8.

 

Todays mission is to get the car running again. Small problem about the hole. Now I see how easy it is to fix.

She will be back on the road today.
