Ordered new hood struts and a 180 T-Stat last Thursday night and UPS just delivered them today. A day early. WOOT!!!

Thanks for the quick turn around time as I have much work to do on 1bad4dr and was waiting for these two items.

Are the struts different than stock? Mine will need replacing soon also.

they look a bit different, but they are an OEM part and state the same specs.

I recommend that you get these now.

cause the hood hurts when it decides it doesn't want to stay up...


I should have replaced my hood struts 6 months ago when I first noticed them weekening..

 

lol...I see. Mine tagged me the other day, but it was one of the coldest days we've had in quite a while. On regular days, they work fine...for now.

 

and Ron has had a lot more things fall on his head than you have :grin:
