FALSE ALARM!!!! All it was, was I overfilled my coolant resevoir the other night when I burped it. AFTER MUCH DIAGNOSIS, Q&A, and troubleshooting with Kyle (Dookie), he helped me realize that I jumped to conclusions. When I pegged the throttle (twice before), it was spewing out the blowhole on my resevoir tank. Simply because there was too much in there. I had no water in my exhaust, the car was running GREAT, and no water or coolant in my oil either. So I drained about 14-16oz of water from the resevoir and hit the road again. This time I stomped on it 5 separate times, throughout the test drive. AND NOTHING. NO SYMPTOMS AT ALL. Lol, what's funny, is after all that aggressive driving that last test drive (hard acceleration, moderate braking, repeat), my temps never got above 194*. So I guess my cooling system is up to par now, lmao. I'm going to check my coolant level later tonight, to make sure it's where it should be. (If I have a blown head gasket, in fact. Then the coolant level will have gone down significantly) But I checked my oil tonight after my last drive, and again, all is good. I'm actually going to get an oil change next week, so that will REALLY be the sign. Thanks for the concern everyone, sorry to get ahead of myself there........it was very easy to assume, considering my recent issues. At least I guess I know this Indy 426 is no pussy, lol.

Chase, I don't give a shit if it was a false alarm. YOU are one cool cat. I hope you smoke weed and your coolness is not natural...so to speak. Hell, Jason fights weed for a living and he blew his motor...and his top, and said fuck it with modding! LOL

LMAO!! I've never touched "mary jane" actually. Don't do drugs, seriously. I've just truly grown to understand that when you modify a vehicle as deeply as I have, things are gonna pop up. I've LEARNED A SHITLOAD over this past month with all these issues. I just hope I'm out of the woods now. She's all detailed and shiny in the garage now. Not takin her out until the weekend. Thanks Rick!!
Thanks man. It started out rough, but ended well. I'm hoping Sunday brings a nice two hour cruise, trouble free. It's supposed to be nice out, so I'm hoping wife and I can take a big lap of Birmingham and grab some lunch in the Charger. WITHOUT ANY ISSUES!!!!

Wait a minute... you painted over your overflow tank didn't you. You probably can't even see the coolant level in there can you :)

Chase, was thinking about his today, and a few good things came out of it...
    1. You know your new cap works as advertised
    2. You know your cooling system isn't leaking anywhere.
    3. You know your head gaskets are good.

Well....after all is said and done, I'm stoked that your car is running top notch now!!

Look at the bright side ( I'm always the optimist ) Now you know all about your cooling system and now you have brand new fans/rad cap/thermostat!!
