FALSE ALARM! UPDATE POST #22 Yup. Sho did bitches. I guess with the upwards of 8-10 times my car saw 240*+ with all this cooling system BS, she couldn't take anymore. TWICE in my 90 min drive today, when I floored it, coolant comes spewing out the side of the hood like crazy, but temps never rose. So now that I have a fixed cooling system, I have a much bigger issue. Taking the "dressy" stuff out of my engine bay today, and taking it to Morgan Performance Fabrication. Hopefully I'll have her back next week. Also gonna get a new set of head bolts and valve seals while I'm getting this taken care of. Thinking I may as well get a new water pump to. Screw it, it's only money right????
Chase thats horrible man, Im sure all will get fixed and your up and running soon. On a bright side you get to hop in the Jeep for a while.
Keep ya head up bro, shit happens. Check your oil, should look like chocolate milk. Too much water can cause bearing and oil pump failure...Watch your oil pressure, if it drops, you're fuggged...Ask me how I know. Chase, I could hear the discouragement in your voice, don't get down dude, it'll get better.

Are you sure its a head gasket? For that much coolant to get out, I would think its a line or the water pump or some other external component of the cooling system. Head gaskets usually leak internally and send partially burned coolant into the exhausrt..ie. white clouds of smoke. Just a thought... hope it gets resolved quickly for you.

Was it spewing coolant out the tail pipe?...Check your oil first. Pull plugs from that side, if it's a gasket, a cylinder will be wet.
We just talked, Nothing in the oil, and he said it wasn't smoking, so probably overfilled and the cap bleed off the excess. He's draining a bit of coolant and going "test" again.

He's going to be away from a computer for a while, and asked me to post an update... GOOD NEWS! Just overfilled, and was bleeding it off...He drained about 12 oz out and all is good...temps holding at 181 while cruising and when he gets on it a few times, will climb to 195, then drops back down to 181. Nothing spewing anymore. Told ya it'll get better bud!
