Simple question, would I benefit from a 180 T-stat with a vortech blower?

I'm going with yes, but it may not be a simple question.

Stock PCM algorithm starts pulling timing/power somewhere over 190* coolant temps. I don't think that changes with the Vortech tunes.

Maybe the largest factor in that area is the IAT temps. I believe the stock PCM algorithm starts pulling timing/power above some threshold. 90 - 100 or so?

Then there is the physics. colder air is denser ==> more 02 per volume which means you can burn more fuel for the same volume of air which means you will get more power while maintaining the same AFR.

But your IAT temps are going to be most effected by how well your intercooler works, so maybe ECT (and a hotter engine) isn't the biggest factor there? Couldn't hurt though.

I'm guessing the benefit will primarily be due to the first reason (assuming it's valid).

haha, how's that for a non-answer... to summarize: more cooler, more better

The knowlege on this site is incredible, but it still is a yes.
Cooler engine is usually prefered, and the Hemi runs really hot stock!
