Okay, so I'm on a mission to find a passenger projection HID headlight for my 08 SRT.. No one has any for sale. I'm sure as hell not buying some aftermarket halo ring cheap made crap, so I'm left with a OE Replacement light. What my issue is, the clear lens on mine is broke, and the back housing is cracked in several places. The bulbs, projector, chrome inside is all intact and good. So, my thinking is, I can get one of these headlights, swap my internals into it and be good. I'm mainly buying this to have the housing and lens. Did you check with Cleveland Pick-a-Part? They specialize in parting out high performance cars. Otherwise, yes you should be able to swap your current HID projector into the non-hid housing.
Oh? I can do that swap? But what about the lens? The shape is different than the Halogen housings? They're more square. I tried calling them the other day, they said the one from a 2006 wouldn't fit or be compatible with my 2008 srt. The one they had was for a C. IDK, the guy wasn't really that nice. Insisted I was wrong when I told him it should fit because they're the same headlight from all model years as long as it's a projector HID light. Also, he said the one they had was broken. I'll check again to see if they have any updates.

So really all I'm having to do is remove the halogen projector, and put my HID one in, and that's it? I know that was a very thorough write up, but I may need more in depth of a explanation. Bare with me.. Guarantee, once I learn this stuff, I'll be set like stone.
