my front rotors were a little warped when i bought my car. now they are really warped! can the factory rotors be turned and how much? i don't really want to buy new ones right now.
Yes, the rotors can be turned, but if you already had a warp issue, then you will need to replace them.
Yes you can get them turned, and I would try that first. Unless you (or someone else) really overheated them, its likely pad deposits casing the vibration. If the cutting doesn't work, then you may have to buy new ones.
If the rotors are slotted you need to go to a place that knows what they are doing... but I believe one or more of our supporting members sells rotors for a pretty good price... but if they are warped it would be better if you replace them as others have suggested..
