You're a true friend of mine if you know what it is this sounds like. And I know the link says V8, be specific! http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/images/V8start.mpg And yes, I want one to start up when I need a smile.
Ding ding ding!! Then again you could just go to the homepage, find the link and figure it out that way. But man, that SOUND! Its music!!
bah.....I have the real thing http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e379/ESC3/300C/?action=view¤t=DSCN0589.flv
Hahaha! Yeah yeah, but the craftsmanship that went into making a tiny functioning replica HEMI, just AWESOME!! And yes, I consider HEMI noise music and race gas fine perfume.
T, is that thing available for purchase? I would save up and buy one...I love it! Erik, is that with stock exhaust with resonators? Mine isn't near that loud at idle. Considering a change.
Hmm, i thought you went back to stock mid pipe back...i knew the catless mids (same here). Thinking about doing a Blastin Bob's resonator delete...any experience there? I guess i want to know your opinion on how much volume increase would I get with my exhaust set up like this: stock shorties catless mids stock x pipe stock muffler blastin bobs 9db reso delete As it sits now, at idle i have a verrry deep bass resonance, but volume is somewhat tame, but it screams at WOT. I just want more idle volume...Whatcha think?
The resonator delete makes it LOUD.I went Corsa for two reasons....first it was free.....second was the stock catback was choking the motor with this cam in it.....wouldn't breath enough up top.
What about keep the resonators and delete the muffler? Hasn't the resonator delete resulted in unbearable drone?
I thought about that also Dave, and either run straight pipe or a couple AT 3030's in place of the stock muffler and keep the reso's, but that will take some welding/fab work which i am not set up to do myself, and my car is too low to get on a lift any where. Not to mention the reso delete can be done for about 200 total. To me, "drone" is a fictitious thing...i hear people talk about their exhaust note inside the cabin like it's a BAD thing...If you don't want to hear it, don't change it...It's all in the eye of the beholder. I've changed my exhaust several times while owning this car, from stock, to JBA CB, then Dynatech LT's and high flow cats with JBA CB, then gutted cats, and Warlock mufflers with cut out and down pipe, then back to some what stock i'm currently running, mainly because of where i live now (Condo with elderly neighbors). But i've been missing my old exhaust and it's ferocity. I WANT SOME VOLUME! Like this (Cut outs with down pipes): Current set up at idle:
