It is updated now. I'll try to post up some pics. It is not letting me cut and paste and the files are too big to upload. I'm at work and I have no way to resize them.
kris - hammer automotive is still in business and selling intakes as they get orders. when you see what i am doing, the shape is a little different. same basic concept, just slightly different in shape. no different to how the afe, rotofab, etc. have similar funnel shapes. please note, i did not call it a AIRHammer. sounds like semantics, but its not. i will still make orders for hammer auto as they need them, from their molds. the molds used for what i will offer are not the same. unlike other situations with Hammer Auto, i actually offered to PAY for an agreement to use a similar design element. i just did not steal it and call it my own. SCOTT PETERSON OF HAMMER AUTOMOTIVE IS THE ORIGINAL DESIGNER OF THIS INTAKE DESIGN!!!!! thanks cam!!! thanks buddy!! when you coming out???? lol thanks....... cool beans rob!!
eventually....... right now i am going from the "behind the scenes guy" just making stuff, to in fornt of the camera. want to make sure i have my ducks in a row with just dealing with the forums before going "worldwide"!!! lol
Well, I wasn't thinking of a store front or anything right off the bat. Maybe just a site with the product line and big glossy pictures.
if someone could send me a sample of the existing intake tube, i would certainly look at it. if it is something i can pull off, then sure! need a sample though and it seems like spare parts are hard to come by these days!! lol
Chris, I have a window of opportunity probably to get the piece off my ride and send it to you. I am in Oklahoma City this week, and will be home for a few days before I head off to Japan for a month. So If I can get it off and mail to you before I leave I will do it. I sure would want it waiting for me when I get back on February 18, 2010. Like you said spares for Techco are at premiums.
Chris I have a 3.5" BWoody Style CAI that I could send you for a jeep mock up, its a 2 piece design but now BWoody has gone to a 1 piece 4" design but it gives you the basic idea, I pesonally like the design of the AFE Stage 2 intake for the jeeps it pulls in ALOT of air.
guys, send me what you have and i will see what i can do. once i see the pieces, i will honestly tell you right away whether joy / no-joy! send to: LMI 13126 Islamorada Drive Orlando, Fl. 32837 please let me know if / when you might send things so i will be on the look out!!!
