We are PROUD to announce the introduction of the EMT/Firefighter and Law Enforcement badges. While we do not have a forum for these unsung hero's, we wanted to show our support for what these fine people do to assist us in our every day lives. Again, these badges are for those who serve in the listed professions, so PLEASE respect their honor and allow them the respect they rightfully deserve. To add the badge, go to the "Use CP" link, then click on the "Group Membership" link under Networking and choose your profession. Thank you ALL for all that you do. Special thanks to Mains for working is code writing magic and to Figs for his creativity in making the badges.
Wait a minute... I think you got to be hired (or volunteer) as a paramedic or whatever. I'm not sure if being trained as one counts if your job title is "Ninja Assassin"
This is awesome I am on the FD in Houston (Spring) and in Cleburne (Bono) Thanks for recognizing the ones that fight the (behind the scenes) battles of everyday life:mains:
Hey...I used my paramedic skills a few weeks ago on the battlefield. I treated two critically injured folks all the way from the battlefield...on trucks.....then a helicopter...until passing them off to a higher level of care. I got to do a few needle decompressions enroute. Both guys are doing just fine. Now if you don't think I'm "hired" enough to merit the badge, then I'll remove it for you Dave!! LOL :usflag:
You KEEP that badge up, Rick. Us Military folk know the real deal. haha I still remember getting my field medics certification. My battle buddy stuck me with the IV needle 4 times. lol WTF? My arm was sore for weeks...
Just screwing with you Rick. If you got the training and they used you as a paramedic you deserve the badge.
How about a green or tan/green LE badge for the county boys? And a star instead of the shield would be sweet. Sorry, just being picky lol.
so we do not go CRAZY on the groups I will see if Figs can add that badge to the current to show both badges... I agree both should be represented. However as Civilians we don't really think of the differences... Thanks man!
Amen to the LASD! PDC East MAX!...home away from home btw....How can I add the "law enforcement" tab?
