Want upgrade from the 205's to 225's. good tires for an 05 skittle with a few mods. Was thinking a bought the Sumitomo HTZ III again since they are 94Y XL and I have them now in the 205 93Y XL (which they are so pose to have on them anyways) http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...7HTRZ3XL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Wheels are the other thing... looking at the Konig Foil http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.275188/it.A/id.8968/.f as seen here. what do you all think. any other suggestions that aren't black.:gotpics:

not a fan of the foils personally.

What kinda price are you looking at spending? Are you concerned about looks or weight?

I can give you a MILLION suggestions, but don't want to be that ass hat that says "throw these rent-to-own 24s on it!!" ya know

why dont you like the Foils?
Weight first then looks. i likes the foils @ 17 or so lbs. and i like their stock look. the stock wheels are about 23lbs i think. i dont want black and i have about $150 a wheel to spend.

I am not really a fan of the look. To me (and remember I am only one guy others opinions will differ) they look cheap...

have you looked at Work rims? They have some very nice styles...

Mmmm I am not a fan of Konigs, but those Foils look great. Get them in 16's and slam the car!

Not sure if they were HTZ III...but I had no luck with the Sumitomo tires that I was running before. I had 2 out of 4 go bad, with side wall bubbles, well before I had any tread wear issues. I am a big fan of the Kuhmo Ectsa's...and if I remember they can be had for around $100 a tire. Just my.02.

Also to the OP, don't run 225's on the stock rim. 215 max.

I hear good things about the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. Fairly cheap too.

sorry she is staying stock stance. maybe mopar springs oneday. I still think that i like the foils best of everything ive looked at for price and weight. i wont run anything bigger than the stock 205 on the stock 6" wheel. i have been looking at the the PT GT wheel 17x7 star wheel but cant find a weight on it.

Yea I work at a tire store and having a tire "go bad" is very rare usually its a low tire or a pinch flat, lack of checking tire pressure and so on but there are times when the delaminate but with the HTR Z III's they are the only Sumi that I like the rest of there tires are junk. And I don't like the Kuhmo except for the platinum LX's model. but @ $72 plus shipping from tire rack they are cheap.
I have a set of HTZ's on my wife pt they sound like my 35" MTR's on my power wagon.
