Well I can tell you this,What ever catch can you decide to get make sure it has some sort of baffling system.I purchased this POS "See pic below" before BT had there can available.Elite has a nice can but I thought it was a little pricey and I had to fabricate a bracket.Have to admit the Bt can is easy to mount..Especially with the bracket for the Jeeps..Check this out..http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57890

Anything you have to mount to a radiator hose is a bad idea. :surprise:

I really like the BT catch can, but I really don't like the mounting on the strut bar. I like the mounting I have seen on the LX models. Does anyone have a bracket like in your second pic with a BT can? I like that mount.

I am really considering getting one after all the oil I have seen reported being trapped.

Actually, I was not referring to the POS red can. I like the double nut and threaded rod mount on the silver one you have pictued. That's the one I want.

FWIW, the bracket the Elite comes with fits perfectly with a .59 cent metric bolt from lowes holding it on.

If so thats the one for all other 6.1s besides the jeep.I think your intake covers the threaded stud. That stud is on all 6.1s

Yes, that's what I want. Can I get that from BT without a lot of modifications?

I guess we will see. I just stold a Wood and I will have to see how it mounts. My current Volant doesn't, but it may hang down too low. I will order up and keep you posted. Thanks guys!

Doesn't look like I will be ordering one tonight. Site must be down. SOB's. Anyone hear anything about their proliphic spacers? I have been holding out to see what they come up with. Sorry, not trying to hijack.

I believe you are correct. It's been a while since I put mine on.

You are correct, I have this one and it does not fit where the lx's does. I temporarily have mine resting below that with a wire tie holding it in place.

Well Derwood,Its kind of hard to finish these sitting on our hands:dumb::grin:
Seriously though,we had a hard time getting the material from our supplier.Hoping to get that straight very soon.Myself and Cam were the test dummies on this so feel free to ask any questions. But lets start a new thread.

Site still seems to be down.
Derwood...I'm with you on the mounting.
The double nut/stud looks much better that the strut bar mounting.

Bill, I see their site is up and running again. I think I am just going to order one and make my own mount from stainless or something.
