   I don't think it rubs. I still have the fire/sound mat in and I don't see an imprint, yet. It sits below the coolant bottle tank so I don't think its in contact with the hood. Its a tight fit, but I could still angle it down some more if I needed to. I stayed as far away from the blower belt as possible.

   your hoods obviously a little different than mine...and where it comes down next to the hood scoop i think its a little lower...and with the heat shield...it rubs a little bit on mine....
   
   yours looks like its a much better fit though...so thats good stuff...
