I was browsing the forums, and apparently Techco was looking for a volunteer to have one installed on their Jeep. With Techco no longer around, who would be interested in doing an SMS Kit. SMS is so busy with the 2010 Camaro kit, time is short. So they would work with us hand in glove to develop the kit here.
You can visit our website and look at some of projects, from Roe Racing SRT10's to stuffing stroked Hemi's into Rubicons. We have fabrication capabilities in house.

    Feedback?

Thats part of the project. To develop the installation kit for the SMS on the Cherokee SRT8. So we would need it for a while. In return, some cost savings...

Sorry for the short post earlier, I was stuffing a sanny down my pie hole and typed one fingered.

Here's the problem. None of the rear intake units will work (SMS, KB). There is not enough room for the plenum on the jeep. You'd have to do some mod's to sqeeze it in there and even then, I feel certain with engine torque and vibration, you'll run into an issue. Stop talking to dem sales boys over there and ask to speak with Rod, he'll confirm what I'm talking about.

I've done two of the Techco's on the jeeps and it's a tight fit bud. There's barely enough room for the heater core hoses and fuel lines back there. Let me see if I can find some pictures for ya.

Not the best picture, but you'll get the idea. I have the this Jeep back in here for some other stuff this weekend, I'll get some good close up's for ya and a couple measurements.

Those guys who drive the Jeeps really don't care about all that foo-foo stuff like firewalls anyway.

The rear is the most difficult part of the Techco install, the wall needs to be "massaged" and the brake lines turned up a little to cross over the unit. The location of the heater hoses makes for the tight fit and a rear facing inlet nearly impossible, but once its in there, it does nicely. Real shame they won't be having any more of these. If SMS wants to make it a front inlet and let folks "fab" that solution up via improvisation, that might be a more doable solution. here's some jeep rear wall photos.

Some early numbers on the PPP single Turbo. Just as I left the shop this evening it put down 780 torque and 675 hp at 12 pounds. 11/1 AFR.

I'd wait for the Magnuson or go Vortech before going through all that under hood rearrangement.

For the turbo? Techco is not available and SMS is a non starter, and Magnuson was supposed to be out 6 months ago.
